By accessing or using PDFCraftly ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Description of service

PDFCraftly provides free online tools for processing PDF files, including merging, splitting, organizing, converting, editing and signing PDFs. Every tool runs entirely in your browser, and your files are processed locally on your device.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws.
• Use the Service to create or distribute malware, viruses or other harmful code.
• Attempt to overload, disrupt or interfere with the Service's infrastructure.
• Use automated scripts, bots or scraping tools to access the Service at scale without prior written consent.
• Process files you do not have the right to use, including copyrighted material you are not authorised to modify.

Your files and intellectual property

You retain full ownership of all files you process or create with PDFCraftly. We do not claim any rights to your content. Your files are never uploaded to us.

File retention

We do not receive, store or back up your files. They are processed in your browser's memory and cleared when you close or reload the page.

No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free or that results will be accurate. Always keep backups of your original files.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PDFCraftly and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits or revenue, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Service availability

We reserve the right to modify, suspend or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also impose limits on certain features or restrict access to parts of the Service.

Rate limiting and fair use

To ensure fair access for all users, the Service applies rate limits and file size limits. Excessive usage may result in temporary throttling or blocking.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
